Description
A stunning coin for investors and collectors alike, the 2021 Queen’s Beast White Greyhound of Richmond is a 1oz fine gold coin and is the tenth coin of the Queen’s Beast series, designed by Jody Clarke.
The series is based on several statues once located at Westminster Cathedral, commissioned for the Queen’s coronation in 1953. The original statues were sculpted by J Woodfrod RA and are now housed in the Canadian museum of history in Quebec, Canada.
Each beast represents the various Houses which make up the Queen’s ancestry, with the Greyhound coming from the Duke of Lancaster and Earl of Richmond’s, father of King Henry IV. The Greyhound rests behind a shield embossed with a Tudor rose and the Imperial State Crown.
This coin contains 1 troy ounce of 24-carat gold, is CGT and VAT exempt.
